Mr. Vincent Nabih Haddad, General Manager

Mr. Haddad joined MEAB bank as General Manager in 2015. A 30 year financial services veteran, he worked internationally gaining experience in the United States, France, Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates. Most recently, Mr. Haddad served as a senior advisor to the CEO and Managing Partner of Sokotra Capital Ltd., a private investment company dealing with direct investment opportunities. He also held senior roles at UBS AG, Pictet & Co, Merrill Lynch and Co. and JP Morgan Securities. As the General Manager of MEAB bank, Mr. Haddad is responsible for MEAB bank’s day-to-day operations. Mr. Haddad earned a DBA at Grenoble Ecole de Management, an MBA at Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree at Beirut University College (LAU).

Mr. Abbas Hejeij, Deputy General Manager

Mr. Hejeij joined MEAB bank in 1999 as a senior auditor. Today he serves as deputy general manager after serving as the head of MEAB bank’s Risk Management Department and Internal Audit Department. In his current role, he also chairs the bank’s IT Security Committee and Retail Committee in addition to serving on the Anti-Money Laundering, Compliance and Credit Committees to ensure the bank adheres to the highest compliance and service standards. Prior to joining MEAB bank, Mr. Hejeij worked as a certified auditor in Beirut. He earned degrees in business and an Executive MBA from the Lebanese American University.

Mr. Ayman Hodroj, Deputy General Manager

In his role as deputy general manager for MEAB bank, Mr. Hodroj oversees all private banking services for the bank’s high net worth individuals and corporate clients. He has worked at MEAB bank for 13 years while also teaching international finance and international economics courses at Université Saint-Joseph. He previously served as a member of the EU-Mediterranean Information Society MEDFOREST community to build an information-sharing network between European and Mediterranean countries. Mr. Hodroj received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economics from Université Saint-Joseph.

Mrs. Inaya Awada Hamdan, Assistant General Manager

Mrs. Hamdan has been with MEAB bank since 2015 and was promoted to the role of Assistant General Manager in December 2017. Mrs. Hamdan has worked in the banking industry since 1999, taking positions in Branch Management, Regional Management, Customer Relationship Management, Retail and Sales, Electronic Banking, Bancassurance and Alternative Delivery Channels. Mrs. Hamdan received her BA in Finance from the University Saint Joseph. She holds an Executive MBA from ESCP Europe and ESA Business School. Currently, she is enrolled in a Doctorate of Business Administration program at ESA managed by the University of Paris1 Panthéon - Sorbone.

Mrs. Amal Sharara Saleh, Assistant General Manager

Mrs. Amal Saleh, with 41 years of experience in the banking industry, has been part of the MEAB bank team since its establishment in 1993 and throughout the launching period. She held a number of positions within the bank, most recently as A.G.M. and Head of Financial Markets. In her position she manages the correspondent Banking Relations, Treasury portfolio, FX and Capital Markets. Prior to MEAB bank she served as Deputy Manager of Mebco Bank from 1977 until 1993. Mrs. Saleh holds a Bachelor's degree in Management and Marketing from the Lebanese University and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Lebanese American University. She had also participated in large number of international conferences and attended professional training programs in Cash Management, Correspondent Banking and Risk Management.
